ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- In cats, amino acids stimulate the release of insulin to a greater extent than glucose, and excess carbohydrate ingestion is usually not well tolerated. Therefore, the increased protein level and the low carbohydrate content make SPECIFIC® Organic a very suitable food for cats with diabetes mellitus. It should be noted that cats with diabetes mellitus that are fed SPECIFIC® Organic may decrease their need for insulin.
- Consumption of a wet diet such as SPECIFIC® Organic increases the urine volume of cats. This, along with its lower pH, can help maintain a healthy urinary tract and support cats with idiopathic cystitis.
- SPECIFIC® Organic is available in two flavor varieties: SPECIFIC® Organic with Chicken (with chicken) and SPECIFIC® Organic with Beef (with veal). SPECIFIC® Organic can be administered exclusively or in combination with SPECIFIC® dry diets
